I graduated from Robinson High School in 1992. I received my Associates degree from McLennan Community College in 2004, my Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2009 and my Masters degree from Lamar University in 2017. 

I am certified in the following:

Principal for Grades EC through 12

Generalist Teacher for Grades EC through 4

English as a Second Language for Grades EC through 4

Gift and Talented Supplemental for Grades EC through 4

This is my first year at Troy ISD. I am currently teaching a self-contained second grade class. 

I previously taught for Temple ISD. I was at Raye-Allen Elementary from 2010 to 2021. While there I taught math and science in fouth grade for seven years, math and science in third grade for three years, and was self-contained second grade for one year.

Before I was hired with Temple, I was the Lead Toddler teacher for Waco Montessori School from 2003 to 2008. Our curriculum was similar to pre-Kindergarten in public schools.

When I am not at school or working at home, I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy riding bicycles, hiking, fishing, hunting, playing board games and dominoes, and watching movies. I also love to travel and see new places as well as try new food.
